Man found dead in motorhome fire

    Fairbanks, Alaska (KINY) An investigation is underway after the fatal fire on Cormorant Street.

    Alaska State Troopers reported that Chena-Goldstream Fire and Rescue responded to the residential structure fire December 15.  When crews arrived on the scene they found a fully involved motorhome.  Troopers went on to report that the fire crews discovered the body of a deceased adult male lying outside the motorhome as they put out the fire.
     
    The Department of Public Safety Division of Fire and Life Safety in Fairbanks is investigating.  The release of the name of the victim was pending positive identification by the Medical Examiners Office and also was pending notification of his family.
