Man dies after fight with family member

Perryville, Alaska (KINY) Alaska State Troopers said alcohol and an argument were the causes of a death Monday.

A trooper dispatch stated they were notified of a death Monday just after midnight.  Troopers from King Salmon and Dillingham responded via charter aircraft and learned Jared Kaiakokonok, 25, had died from blood loss.   The investigation found Mr. Kaiakokonok got into an argument with a family member and began hitting a glass window causing it to break.  The victim badly cut his arm during the incident and lost a significant amount of blood.  He was transported to the local clinic and died there.

Troopers went on to report that the body was taken to Anchorage for an autopsy and the investigation was ongoing.
