Man charged with using vehicle during assault

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) A Ketchikan man faces three criminal charges after a domestic violence complaint.

    Alaska State Troopers say Kenneth Reese drove his vehicle head-on into another vehicle causing a substantial amount of damage.  The incident occurred at mile 12 of North Tongass Highway.

    Reese fled the scene but returned when Troopers were investigating.

    Charges include assault in the third degree, assault in the fourth degree and criminal mischief in the third degree.  Troopers also reported the victim was placed in fear of injury.  The estimate of damage was placed at $1,000.

    Reese is being held without bail at the Ketchikan jail.
