Man charged in two incidents

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) A man was charged with criminal mischief and burglary for two incidents within one hour of each other early today.

    Juneau Police said they arrested John Katzeek, 43, on charges of criminal mischief in the second degree and burglary in the first degree.

    Sgt. Sterling Salisbury said officers were called to the 6500 block of Glacier Highway for the report of a criminal mischief complaint.  They found a vehicle with its windows busted out.  Around 1 am officers were dispatched to a residence nearby and were able to thwart a burglary in progress.

    Katzeek was accused of using a baseball bat to break out the windows.  He was transported to Lemon Creek Correctional without bond to await a future court appearance.
