Man Arrested After Investigation of Possible Break-in

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - During their investigation police discovered an active warrant for failure to appear at an arraignment on criminal trespass charges.

    A 28-year-old Juneau man is in jail after he was contacted in the 9300 block of Turn Street on Friday.

    Pavel Bogatko was taken into custody after it was reported that a number of people appeared to be breaking into a home.

    After an investigation by Juneau Police Department officers, they determined that one of the people had permission to be there and the others were guests. During their investigation police discovered an active warrant for Bogatko for failure to appear at an arraignment on criminal trespass charges.

    Bogatko was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
