Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Several members of Congress including Alaska's delegation have sent a letter to White House COVID Response Coordinator Jeffrey Zienta urging the Biden Administration to be more transparent and timely in their efforts to develop guidance for the resumption of operations for the cruise ship industry.

The letter complains that while the cruise ship industry continues to face a strict no sail order, many other travel related industries have safely returned to operations.  The letter also presses for answers to a number of clarifying questions on current Centers for Disease Control guidelines.
