Legislature approves COVID disaster extention

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Senate voted 14-6 to approve Extending the COVID disaster declaration during Wednesday's lengthy floor session.

    The Alaska House convened Wednesday evening to review senate changes

    The House voted 25-15 to concur with changes the Senate made to the bill.

    The bill is now pending approval from Governor Dunleavy.

    According to Anchorage Daily News, Governor spokesman Jeff Turner said Dunleavy will review the bill Thursday.
