Lawsuit over child's injury could be settled

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) The child lose sight in one eye after being struck by a soccer ball at school.

    KTOO News reported that a court hearing would be held today before Judge Trevor Stephens to review the terms of the settlement.

    The Harborview Elementary school fourth grader's family filed the negligence litigation and sought damages of over $100,000.  Terms of the settlement have not been released.

    The child was in a physical education class when he was struck by the soccer ball in 2016.
