JUNEAU, Alaska (KINY) - The Legislature has called itself back into a special session this coming Thursday to deal with a capital budget.
It's hoped it will be one day session, but Juneau Senator Dennis Egan is skeptical. "I would question that. I think two days maybe."
He says they expect to see the deal hammered by House and Senate leadership early this week.
Egan underscored the importance of getting a capital budget approved since the state must provide matching funds for appropriations approved by the federal government for Alaska.
