Latest missile launched by North Korea could hit Alaska

    Washington, D. C. (ABC) - U-S officials have confirmed the missile launched Friday]by North Korea is a Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. It's the kind capable of reaching Alask, according to ABC Correspondent Luis Martinez who covers the Pentagon.

    "North Korea has said that its goal is to pair up a small nuclear device atop one of their long range missiles. Over the last year, they have shown consistent progress in their long range distances, but it's unclear whether North Korea really has miniaturized a device. One U.S. intelligence agency has reportedly determined that yes they - over the next year or so they could um realized that goal of pairing up a small device but that remains to be seen."
