Juneau, AK (KINY) - The Ketchikan Police Department said goodbye to a four-legged friend to the force.
According to a post on their Facebook page, retired canine Booker served as the narcotics K9 for the department from Nov. 2011 to Dec 2015. Ketchikan police called Booker an invaluable part of the force in drug detection and seizures. The dog was also an important part of educating students about the dangers of drugs.
