Ketchikan man sentenced in drug conspiracy

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) - Frankie Seludo, 26, pled guilty to attempted misconduct with a controlled substance in the second-degree.

    Alaska State Troopers and Ketchikan Police allege Seludo helped Christian Mathers, 21, try to pick up a package that contained over 30 grams in heroin from the post office last summer.

    Seludo was sentenced to three years in prison with two years suspended.  He will also serve two years probation.

    Mathers pled guilty to a charge of misconduct with a controlled substance in the second-degree last December.

    Both men appeared before Superior Court Judge William Carey.
