Ketchikan man arrested for FTA, physically resisting arrest

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) - A Ketchikan man is alleged to have physically resisted arrest when Troopers tried to pick him up on Friday.

    On Jan. 31, Alaska State Troopers contacted and arrested Alexander Blair, age 25 of Ketchikan, at a residence in the 2500 Block of Killerwhale Avenue. 

    According to a Trooper dispatch, Blair had an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear reference the original charge of Criminal Trespass in the 1st Degree. 

    During the arrest Blair allegedly resisted arrest and was aided by a family member.  Further charges of interfering with an arrest are being forwarded to the District Attorney's Office on the 52-year-old female, family member. 

    Blair was remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with bail set at $500.00.
