Ketchikan drug bust

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) A trio of law enforcement agencies teamed up to stop an shipment of illegal methamphetamine from making it to the streets in Ketchikan.

    Ketchikan Police, the Alaska State Troopers and the U.S. Coast Guard Investigation Services arrested Richard Anderson, 53, November 27th, after he allegedly tried to import 3.92 ounces of methamphetamine from Seattle, Washington to Ketchikan on board Alaska Marine Lines.

    Authorities said they seized the shipment on the barge and arrested Anderson on charges of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree.  He was held at the Ketchikan State Jail without bail.
