Juneau, Sitka see new positive COVID-19 cases

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A total of 92 new resident cases and 17 new non-resident cases of COVID-19 reported today by the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services.

    The state total is now at 2,041.  There are 484 non-resident cases.

    New resident cases included one in Juneau, 64 in Anchorage, five in Fairbanks, five in Wasilla, two in Homer, three in Soldotna and single cases in Eagle River, Kenai, Seward, Palmer, Sutton-Alpine, the Valdez Cordova census area, the North Slope Borough, Kotzebue, Bethel, the Aleutians, and Sitka.

    New non-resident cases included three in Anchorage, six in Juneau, and one each in Soldotna, Kodiak, Valdez-Cordova Census Area, and Wasilla.
