
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - On Saturday, Jan. 29th, at about 12:02 a.m., the Juneau Police Department received a 911 call from a 46-year-old female, stating she needed help at her residence in the 9000 block of Rosedale Street.
The female told police that she had been in an argument with her, ex-boyfriend, 35-year-old Aaron Michael Lampman-Reid, when he produced a handgun and discharged it into the ceiling.
The female locked herself in a bedroom until the police arrived. Lampman-Reid was located by police in the garage and detained.
The 46-year-old female told police that Lampman-Reid punched a kitchen cabinet during the argument, causing about $125 in damages.
When the firearm was discharged, it is believed the bullet went into the kitchen ceiling, causing about $125 in damages. A handgun was located on the kitchen floor of the residence.
There were no reported injuries and alcohol appears to be a factor in this incident.
Lampman-Reid was placed under arrest and taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center on the following charges:
- Assault in the 3rd degree, a class C felony.
- Assault in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.
- Two counts of Misconduct Involving Weapons in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.
- Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.
