Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau police have apprehended a man they say was wanted on weapons and escape charges.
On Monday, at about 12:30 p.m., Juneau Police Department officers located James Nicholas Cook in a parking lot at the 9200 block of Glacier Highway.
Officers made contact with Cook and placed him under arrest for his warrant without incident. Cook was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.
Cook had been sought for questioning in the report of an assault with a firearm on July 4, police said.
