    Juneau, AK (KINY) - A summary of the election for those running for Mayor, the Assembly, and the School Board.

    Elections interviews and discussions are happening live at 103.5 FM / 800 AM on KINY, which can also be found online here. This post will be updated as results come in. Numbers are subject to error until numbers are finalized by the Elections office. 

    Voter Turnout - 26.1%

    Registered Voters - 27,067

    Ballots Cast - 7070

    Mayor – One open seat (3-year term)

    Cody Shoemaker - 138

    Assembly Areawide – One open seat (1-year term)

    Tom Williams - 2500

    Assembly District 1 – One open seat (3-year term)

    Assembly District 2 – Two open seats (1 seat for a 1-year term, 1 seat for a 3-year term)

    The election is scheduled to be certified next week October 9th, with Absentee ballots being tallied on Friday.
