
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau case was one of 10 new cases reported by the state.
Health officials said there were seven new cases reported in Anchorage and two cases in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
All of the cases were of adults. None of them were hospitalized.
All have agreed to self-quarantine for 14 days. The origin of the Juneau case is not known. Travel related causes have not been ruled out.
The state reported that community transmission of COVID-19 appears to be occurring in the Anchorage area.
