June 7 through 20 COVID-19 recap

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Between June 7 and June 20, 16 people in Juneau tested positive for COVID-19. This is down from 29 the previous two weeks, according to the City and Borough of Juneau.

A quarter of the past two weeks' cases were associated with a small daycare cluster, that have all since recovered.

Currently, 66% of Juneau's population has had at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine. As long as cases remain low, the next lowest community risk level is reached at 70% fully-vaccinated.
