July 4 fireworks will go on as planned in Ketchikan

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) - The show will go on for Independence Day in Ketchikan this weekend, according to a statement from the borough

    The annual Fourth of July fireworks show provided by the Ketchikan Lions Club will take place this year on Saturday, July 4 at 11 p.m.

    Spectators watching the fireworks will be encouraged to stay in or near their vehicles as they assemble for the show.

    Those without a vehicle will be required to maintain at least six feet from non-household members and face coverings will be encouraged.
