JPD fills civiian investigator positions

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The staff of the Juneau Police Department is about to be bolsters with the addition of two new civilian investigators that were authorized by the Assembly.

    Deputy Police Chief David  Campbell  on Action Line  Wednesday that two civilian investigators start work Monday.  He said the successful applicants are very well known people in the community.

    One of them is long time department employee Jennifer Adams who has worked as a dispatcher and community service officer.  She works as the department's commercial passenger vehicle inspector.   The other successful applicant is Joe Fox who has also worked as a dispatcher and community service officer.

    Campbell said Adams and Fox will do "a bang up job" for the department in those positions.  "They're established with JPD.  They know oursystems, know our computers.  They're going to do a great job."
