JPD completes assault investigation

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau Police said they've referred their findings to the District Attorney and the Johnson Youth Center for prosecution.

    Juneau Police Spokesperson Krag Campbell said they developed seven suspects in this assault.  They are a mix of juveniles and adults.

    The victim claimed he was assaulted after he stepped out of a vehicle on February 9 near Floyd Dryden Middle School.

    The 18-year-old man said he was struck by a bottle and possibly a pair of brass knuckles.

    He was treated for the injuries at Bartlett Regional Hospital.
