Houston, AK (KINY) - State troopers have released additional information in a case that happened on January 21st that involved a man in Houston.
According to Trooper dispatch reports,
Troopers responded to a residence on W. Lakeshore Drive for a report of a disturbance. Troopers learned that Kyle Hatfield, who was attempting to set an occupied dwelling on fire, as well as damaging private property of two individuals.
Later that evening, troopers responded to a vehicle crash in a ditch at mile 115 of the Parks Hwy. It's there that they eventually arrested Hatfield.
While in transit to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, Hatfield assaulted a Trooper by recklessly placing the Trooper in fear of physical injury.
Hatfield was arrested on a warrant for a charge of Theft in the 2nd degree, as well as Forgery in the 2nd. Hatfield was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was held without bail.
