Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A suspicious wild land fire in Alaska's Interior is under investigation.
Alaska State Troopers in Galena received a report Saturday afternoon of three cabins on fire 15 up river from Galena the Yukon River.
The Bureau of Land Management contained the woodlands fire to a one acre area. Federal officials reported the fire was suspicious in nature.
A Trooper dispatch says the cabins were a total loss and that an investigation is ongoing.
