Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) A Ketchikan man fell while hunting and had to be rescued Monday night.
A dispatch from Alaska State Troopers reported they received a call Monday around 6:22 pm of an injured hunter on Dude Mountain.
Harold Zurlo, 36, had fallen and injured himself and was unable to hike off the mountain. The US Coast Guard in Juneau provided a helicopter to reach the hunter and transported him to get treatment from the Ketchikan Volunteer Rescue Squad.
