
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reports 358 new cases of COVID 19 between Friday and Sunday.
It also reported that 43 people were hospitalized during that time.
All but four of the cases involved resident Alaskans. The Anchorage area had the most cases at 113. There were 23 cases in the Mat Su Borough and 20 in the Kenai Peninsula Borough.
Juneau had 22 cases.
In other Southeast Alaska locations 11 cases were reported in Sitka; five in Ketchikan; four in Metlakatla, four between Hoonah, Angoon, and Yakutat\; two in Haines, and one in the Prince of Wales-Hyder census area.
The department says the alert level remains high.
