Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - April McLaughlin, 34, entered a guilty plea to a charge of attempted misconduct involving a controlled substance in the third degree and was sentenced to three years probation.
The court dismissed charges of violation of conditions of release and tampering with physical evidence in the case.
McLaughlin was arrested by Juneau Police allegedly in possession of 43 grams of methamphetamines. She was originally charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance in the third degree.
Assistant District Attorney Bailey Woolfstead said the charge was reduced to attempted misconduct.
McLaughlin was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Kirsten Swanson.
