
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Foodland set aside two hours daily and Safeway four hours per week to help the most at-risk in Juneau from COVID-19.
Foodland set aside 6-8 AM daily for shoppers most at risk. Other customers are encouraged to shop after 8 AM if possible.
They also urge customers to practice social distancing at the store. Health experts recommend at least six feet.
Safeway set aside 7-9 AM on Tuesday and Thursday for at-risk shoppers. They mentioned pregnant women and those with comprised immune systems.
Both stores said they are stocking shelves and operating normally.
