Juneau, Alaska (KINY) A Juneau man was indicted on charges he threatened police with a metal pipe.
Ernest Joseph, 48, was indicted on charges of assault in the second degree and assault in the third degree. A charging document from Juneau Police said Mr. Joseph assaulted a female at Switzer Trailer Park by striking her, knocking her down and strangling her. The report went on to state that Joseph waved a 3 1/2 foot long metal pipe and a broom handle at officers and made threats. He was tased and arrested without further incident.
Brian Miller, 45, was indicted on a charge of misconduct that involves a weapon in the third degree. He allegedly possessed a short barreled shotgun on February 23.
Jenna Blanton, 31, was indicted on a charge of robbery in the second degree for an incident report on May 2.
