Grand jury indicts Ketchikan man on drug charges

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) - Anthony Love, 27, was charged with trying to help smuggle in nearly 238 grams of methamphetamines and four grams of cocaine into Ketchikan.

    The grand jury indicted Love on charges of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the third degree and misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fifth degree.

    Ketchikan Police said they intercepted a package that was mailed from Los Angeles, California to Ketchikan, on June 29.

    They conducted a controlled delivery of the package and watched the residence.

    Police said Love showed up a few hours later and picked up the package and took it inside.

    When police searched the residence officers said they saw Love trying to throw the package out of a second-floor window.
