Gov.-elect Dunleavy, Officials Tour Damaged Schools in Mat-Su Borough

    Anchorage, Alaska (KINY) - Both Houston and Colony Middle Schools suffered extensive damage during the 7.0 quake.

    Governor-elect Mike Dunleavy and Department of Education and Early Development Commissioner Michael Johnson toured earthquake-damaged schools in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough on Saturday morning.

    Matanuska-Susitna Borough School Superintendent Monica Goyette led the tours of Houston and Colony Middle Schools where the 7.0 quake caused extensive damage to both facilities.
