Gov. Dunleavy appoints Amanda Holland as acting DOA Commissioner

    Anchorage, Alaska (KINY) - Governor Dunleavy announced Monday that Amanda Holland will serve as acting commissioner for the Alaska Department of Administration.

    Holland served as Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Administration.

    Former commissioner, Kelly Tshibaka, posted a photo of her resignation letter for the position Monday after she announced her candidacy for a U.S. Senate run in 2022.

    In a release by Gov. Dunleavy's office, he thanked Tshibaka for her service and wished "her and her family well."
