Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Scores upon scores of vehicles including big trucks sounding their horns the entire way participated in a convoy Saturday afternoon through the downtown area to proclaim their freedom.

There were many signs attached to vehicles protesting vaccine and mask mandates which the protestors believe impair their freedom.

The protest was conducted in solidarity with what was termed a "freedom truck convoy happening  Saturday in Ottawa, Canada.

The convoy was at least over two miles in length.

A posted notice invited people to become a freedom fighter and asked them to gather at Noon in front of Fred Meyer and the Juneau Christian Center in preparation for the convoy.
