Anchorage, Alaska (KINY) A rock fell off a moving truck and flew through the windshield of a vehicle killing a child, Alaska State Troopers said.
A dispatch from Alaska State Troopers said they have identified the truck from which a rock fell and hit a car.
Noah Schwebach, 8 of Crystal River, was sitting in the back seat of a Volkswagen hatchback and was killed.
The rock was about the size of a volleyball, Troopers said.
A driver and three other passengers in the vehicle were not hurt. The accident occurred in a construction zone on the Sterling Highway.
