Four indicted on federal firearm charges

    Anchorage, Alaska (KINY) - A June 6, 2019 crime spree that included a smash and grab burglary at Granny's Guns, resulted in four indictments Monday.

    U.S. Attorney Bryan Schroder said Gian Carlo Clemente Pangilinan, 24, Muna Junior Rhode, 21, Kao Chiang Saelee, 38, and Hans Mikaele Wells, 24, face charges of conspiracy, theft of firearms, possession of stolen firearms, and tampering with evidence.

    Rhode and Saelee were also charged with felons in possession of firearms.

    Anchorage Police said the group stole two vehicles and smashed one of them through the front window of Granny's Guns and stole 22 firearms.

    They allegedly set one vehicle on fire and shot at police during a car chase.

    The Anchorage Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives conducted the investigation.
