Four high ranking CBJ officials to retire

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A number of high ranking City and Borough of Juneau officials plans to retire this spring and summer.

That's according to City Manager Rorie Watt who ran down the list on Action Line Friday.

They include Engineering and Public Works Director Roger Healy; Community Development Director Rob Steedle, who formerly served as the deputy city manager; Parks and Recreation Director Kirk Duncan; and Municipal Clerk Laurie Sica.

"They've reached that time in their lives and its going to be tough on us because that's a lot of institutional knowledge and strength going out the door,"  Watt said.
