Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Southeast Alaska Food Bank will open its doors Monday for furloughed federal government workers.
Food bank manager Darren Adams told News of the North the special distribution will be held at the food bank from noon to 4 p.m.
The distribution is also open to assist the family members of those workers affected by the partial shutdown.
Just show your Federal PIC and the food bank will provide up to 50 pounds of food.
The distribution will continue every Monday afternoon until the shutdown ends.
The Southeast Alaska Food Bank is located at 10020 Crazy Horse Drive, near Don Abel.
