Florida keeping cruise ship from docking

Miami, Florida (ABC) - Florida Governor Ron DeSantis does not want the Holland America cruise to dock for fear of spreading infection of the coronavirus.

Four people have died on board in the last few days.

Families of the passengers have asked President Donald Trump to intervene.

Officials have to decide whether to allow the Zaandam and Rotterdam ships into US waters.

Some Florida officials said they must help those on board.

Gov. Desantis asked President Trump not to allow the ships to dock, "Just to drop off people at the spot where we have the most cases right now doesn't make a whole lot of sense."

President Trump said they have to do something for the passengers, "There are people that are sick on the ship and we don't want to be like ghost ships.  I am going to do what's right not only for us but for humanity."
