Flags to be lowered for former Alaska Representative Pat Carney

    Former Alaska State Representative Pat Carney of Wasilla

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - U. S. and state flags will fly at half-staff for the third time this week to recognize a former state lawmaker who has passed away.

    A release from Governor Dunleavy's office says former Representative Pat Carney of Wasilla has passed.  Carney served in the Legislature from 1979 to 1982 and from 1991 to 1994.

    Flags were lowered Wednesday for former House Speaker Mike Bradner of Fairbanks and on Monday for former Fairbanks Representative Bud Fate.
