Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring one of the gubernatorial forum between incumbent Bill Walker, Republican Mike Dunleavy and Democrat Mark Begich
Executive Director Craig Dahl said on Action Line that they will be hosting the only gubernatorial forum in Juneau. It's scheduled for Thursday, September 6. The weekly luncheon will be moved to Centennial Hall to accommodate a bigger than normal turnout. People interested in attending are asked to RSVP on the chamber's website at www.juneauchamber.com
Two forums are planned in advance of Juneau's local election October 2.
All the candidates running for the three Assembly seats will be featured on September 20. The four people running for mayor is scheduled for the chamber's meeting of September 27.
Chamber programs featuring candidates for the State House and Senate representing Juneau and Northern Lynn Canal communities are also scheduled prior to November's General Election.
