North Pole, Alaska (KINY) Prosecutors said Christopher Sadowski, 31, beat his son often and would try to cover up bruises by pouring boiling water on his head.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner said Sadowski will be sentenced April 11th after a jury convicted him of first-degree murder charges.
A state medical examiner testified that the victim, Christopher Sadowski, Jr. suffered 59 blunt force injuries which included 16 on his head. He also suffered from second and third-degree burns.
Sadowski told investigators that he accidentally had scalded the boy in the shower. He blamed the bruises on the boy's clumsiness.
