Fatal fire in Fairbanks

    Fairbanks, Alaska (KINY) A two year old female died in the flames in Goldrush Estates.

    Alaska State Troopers report Fairbanks firemen encountered brutal cold temperatures of -36 degrees as they fought the blaze.  They reported an adult female was able to exit the trailer without injury.

    Multiple fire units battled the blaze.

    The fire marshall was continuing to investigate the fire to determine the cause.  The child was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Anchorage for an autopsy.
