Experts predict gas prices will start to rise

    Washington, D.C. (ABC) - The prices at the pump this Memorial Day weekend are the lowest they've been in 20 years.

    The national average is $1.94 per gallon.

    Prices are as low as $1.50 per gallon in some states.

    Some experts said these gas prices will hover at these levels for a short period.

    Gas Buddy reports that the national average could rise to up to $2.50 per gallon by Labor Day.

    The average price per gallon in Alaska today was $2.00 for regular and $2.13 for midgrade according to aaa.com.
