Dunleavy increases lead

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) A new poll from Ivan Moore showed Mike Dunleavy continues to increase his lead in the race for Alaska governor.

    Dunleavy had 44.4 percent support in a poll released from voters on September 25.   That support increased to 46.5 percent as of October 6.

    In the earlier poll, Mark Begich had 29 percent support.  The latest poll showed his support down to 22.6 percent.

    Governor Bill Walker had 22.9 percent support in the September poll, and 27 percent support in the October poll.

    Undecided voters totaled 3.7 percent in the September poll and 3.9 percent in the October poll.

    Dunleavy also led in one on one races with Begich and Walker.  The poll showed Dunleavy would beat Begich 54.5 percent to 40.8 percent and would defeat Walker 52.9 percent to 43 percent.
