DHSS reports 20 new COVID-19 cases in Anchorage, Kenai Peninsula

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The daily report from the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services found the state added 20 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday morning.

    That means a total of 487 cumulative cases, with 287 recovered.

    The new cases are in four communities: Anchorage (15), City of Kenai (3), Homer (1), and Nikiski (1).

    There are 22 cumulative non-resident cases that are not counted toward Alaska's total.

    Southeast Alaska remains at 57 cases.
