DHSS reports 1 new Juneau case of COVID-19 among 54 new cases

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services confirmed 40 new resident cases and 14 non-resident cases on Tuesday.

    The daily report showed 1,579 total resident cases and 320 non-resident cases.

    The report also listed 642 people as recovered, 920 active cases, and 92 hospitalized during the pandemic.

    Reported deaths remain at 17 statewide.

    Juneau’s case is part of 54 new statewide cases reported today.

    One new non-resident case was reported in Petersburg.
