DHSS reports 1 new case of COVID-19 in the Kenai Peninsula

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The daily report from the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services showed an increase of one case of COVID-19 on Monday morning.

    The new case is in the Kenai Peninsula.

    There are 15 non-resident cases reported in the state.

    The state report listed 409 total cases and 361 patients as recovered.

    Ten people are currently hospitalized because of the virus.
