DHSS adds 20 new COVID-19 cases statewide, 4 are in Southeast

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The daily report from the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services found the state added 20 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday morning.

    There was one case each reported in Juneau, Wrangell, Ketchikan and Sitka.

    That means there are now 72 cases reported cumulatively in Southeast.

    A total of 696 cases have been reported, with 438 recovered. There are 246 active cases in the state.

    There are 82 non-resident cases that are not counted toward Alaska's total.
