Dense fog advisory issued for Juneau

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for Juneau and the surrounding area.

    It is in effect from 9 p.m. Tuesday through Noon Wednesday.

    Meteorologist Edward Liske in the Juneau Forecast Office said visibility is expected to be a quarter of a mile or less.

    The dense fog advisory is also in effect for Glacier Bay, Chichagof Island, northern Admiralty Island, and portions of the eastern Gulf Coast including Hoonah, Gustavus, Pelican, Elfin Cove, and Tenakee Springs.
